CLINICALLY SHOWN TO SUPPORT MORE RESTORATIVE SLEEP

CDC BRFSS,2022-2023
Earlier clinical work has also shown significantly fewer adverse events than placebo (2024 GI study), higher willingness-to-pay than placebo (2024 Clarity study), and favorable within-group REM sleep changes (2025 pilot). See footnotes for full study details.

MOST “MUSHROOM COFFEE”
ISN’T ACTUALLY MUSHROOM.
The functional-mushroom category has three open secrets. They're the reason cheaper products don't work and the reason ours costs what it does.

science questions,

Yes. We invest a lot into research, including multiple independent human randomized controlled trials with Radicle Science and Reputable Health. Most wellness brands never test their product. We do. So far the key finding is better sleep efficiency, and we all know even a little more rest can make the biggest difference to your day.
It depends on what you're after. For focus, calm, and better sleep, it's probably the L-theanine working with the caffeine. Over the long run, the functional mushrooms and collagen are where you really feel the impact build.
Lots of things. Taste, function, benefits... but for the most part, we use 100% fruiting-body real mushroom extracts, never mycelium-on-grain filler. We put collagen peptides in every cup, which no other coffee does. And we invest in a real third-party clinical program, lab tests, and verifications for our coffee.
Some feel it right away, for some, it builds over time. The lift in focus and calm you feel pretty quickly. The deeper benefits from the mushrooms and collagen layer in with daily use over the following weeks, and most subscribers tell us the longer they stick with it, the more they notice.
You can pay with HSA/FSA funds through Trumed, which can lower your real cost.
2026 three-arm RCT.Reputable Health, 8 weeks, N=129 completers, Everyday Dose Mild Roast (~50mg caffeine). Sleep Efficiency (Oura Ring, primary endpoint): ED vs Decaf +1.60 pp [95% CI 0.72–2.48], p = 0.001, d = 0.79; ED vs Regular Coffee +1.55 pp [95% CI 0.72–2.39], p < 0.001, d = 0.74. Source: EverydayDose_SAR_2026_v1.
2024 GI Health RCT.Radicle Science, ED N=187, Placebo N=195. Primary GI Collective endpoint not significant. Adverse events: ED 11.8% vs Placebo 20.5%, p = 0.020 — supports the "well-tolerated" framing.
2024 Clarity (Cognition) study.Radicle Science, N=1,195, 4 weeks. Primary PROMIS Cognitive Function endpoint not significant after correction. Exploratory result: willingness-to-pay for ED $30.60 vs placebo $25.54, p < 0.05.
2025 Sleep Pilot.Reputable Health, N=50 completers, 4 weeks, 2-arm. Between-group endpoints not significant. Within-group REM sleep +0.06 hrs, p = 0.014. Medium (90mg) SKU.
L-theanine + caffeine.Ősz et al., Journal of Clinical Medicine, 2025 (meta-analysis, k=5, n=148, healthy adults); Giesbrecht et al., Nutritional Neuroscience, 2010 (n=44, 97mg L-theanine + 40mg caffeine, task-switching); Sohail et al., Cureus, 2021 (systematic review). All in healthy-adult populations.
Lion's Mane.Docherty et al., Nutrients, 2023 (n=41, healthy adults, processing speed after 28 days); Surendran et al., Frontiers in Nutrition, 2025 (acute pegboard improvement, null on global cognition); Friedman, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2015 (chemistry review).
Collagen peptides.Proksch et al., Journal of Medicinal Food, 2013 (n=69, women 35–55, 8 weeks, skin elasticity +30%); Shaw et al., American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2017 (collagen synthesis with vitamin C–enriched gelatin).
Chaga.Human clinical trials are limited. Mechanism and composition evidence summarized in "Chaga mushroom: a super-fungus with countless facets and untapped potential," Frontiers in Pharmacology, 2023.
Mushroom quality standards.Nammex (nammex.com) and Real Mushrooms (realmushrooms.com) publish the widely-cited industry framework on fruiting-body vs. mycelium-on-grain, beta-glucan testing, and dual hot-water/alcohol extraction. Friedman M., J Agric Food Chem 2015;63:7108–7123 on Hericium erinaceus composition.
Sleep insufficiency. CDC Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, 2022–2023: ~33% of US adults sleep <7 hours/night; range 30% (Vermont) to 46% (Hawaii); adults 45–64 are hardest hit at 39%.
Caffeine metabolism (CYP1A2). El-Sohemy et al., JAMA 2006; NIH dbSNP. Roughly 50% of the US population carries the AC or CC CYP1A2 genotype (intermediate or slow metabolizers); ~10% are homozygous slow metabolizers, clearing caffeine up to 4× more slowly than fast metabolizers.
Coffee-induced GI symptoms. Boekema et al., Clinical Gastroenterology & Hepatology, 2019: ~22% of healthy adults report coffee-induced GI discomfort; >50% in functional dyspepsia.
Seven monthly "Need your advice" cohorts, April 2026, total N=8,255 active subscribers. Cross-sectional by cohort (M1 through M7), not within-person longitudinal tracking. Percentages describe active subscribers at each tenure, not all customers who have ever tried Everyday Dose.
All clinical sleep-efficiency data on this page is specific to the Mild Roast (45mg caffeine) SKU. The 2025 Reputable Health pilot used the Medium (90mg) SKU; between-group sleep results in that study were null.
